Erick Otieno (PhD)
Director of Research and Capacity BuildingDr. Otieno is a senior development professional with a multidisciplinary academic and technical background bridging environmental sciences, WASH, community empowerment, ICT4D, and monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Aquatic Sciences from Egerton University, with a strong background in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), community empowerment on water quality access, and environmental conservation. He further holds a master’s degree and a PhD in Information Systems both from University of Nairobi, bringing critical expertise in the application of digital systems, data, and technology to community development and decision-making processes. Dr. Otieno has undertaken professional certifications and training in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) from United States International University (USIU) and Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His combined expertise strengthens Real Link Center for Research and Capacity Building’s ability to integrate environmental sustainability, technology, and evidence-based approaches into development programming.
Faith Achieng
Data analysis and quality assuranceMs. Faith is biostatistics professional with expertise in data analysis, data management, and visualization. She is skilled in utilizing software such as STATA and R with keen interest in social science, climate change and health research. Has proven ability to perform data quality assurance, develop analysis plans, and produce technical reports. She holds Bachelor of Science in Biostatistics from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and have progressive experience in data management and research within public health programmes. Previously served as a Data Assistant with the KEMRI Malaria Program. She is currently the data analyst, supporting field data collection, questionnaire design, data analysis, and preparation of statistical reports and visualisations.
Rose Anyango
Administration and CommunicationRose is an Administration and Communications Officer with a Diploma in Community Health and Development from Thika School of Medical and Health Sciences. Her academic background has equipped her with a strong understanding of community health systems, stakeholder engagement, and development-oriented programming, enabling her to effectively support organisational operations while remaining responsive to community and partner needs. She supports day-to-day administrative functions, coordination of activities, and internal communication processes, while also contributing to external communications and documentation. She has experience in managing office operations, organising meetings and events, and supporting reporting processes.
