Research and Knowledge Management Expert
Lilian Dhahabu Muinde is a publishing, documentation, research and knowledge management professional with over 20 years of experience in managing research, editorial and publishing processes. She has extensive expertise in writing, editing, proofreading, translation, research coordination, documentation, layout and design, quality control, and knowledge dissemination. Lilian has worked across mainstream publishing and the development sector, documenting research findings, case studies, stories of change, lessons and best practices across areas including gender, children’s rights, health, livelihoods, water and sanitation, youth, entrepreneurship, policy and community development. She has undertaken assignments for organisations including the British Red Cross, Netherlands Red Cross, FIDA Kenya, CARE, Africa Academy of Sciences, Solidaridad and other development partners, including work in conflict-affected contexts such as South Sudan and the Somali Region of Ethiopia. She currently serves as Director of Documentation, Research and Publishing, where she coordinates research and documentation assignments, manages teams, supports training, and oversees the production and dissemination of knowledge products. Lilian holds a Master of Arts in Swahili Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Kiswahili from the University of Nairobi.
