Through funding from the Notre Dame-IBM Tech Ethics Lab,1 we embarked on a journey to assess the extent of policy readiness towards Artificial Intelligence in Africa. The journey took us towards exploring policy instruments and initiatives available in Africa from the vantage database of the OECD that aggregated AI-related initiatives and policy drives across all countries. The outcome presents an interesting overview of where Africa stands in regards to AI-related policy initiatives.
