In this status review article, we look at the state of readiness with which Africa is among countries in the sub-Saharan African countries. The report looks at different dimensions from ICT interventions, to policy standpoint and to the stakeholder dimensions to understand the gaps that African countries experience in the quest for Digital Economy success. The paper is an interesting read for all interested in building up the African economy beyond the conventional economic streams.
